The Young Epilepsy Section (YES) of the ILAE is a world-wide organization of young people in the early stages of a career focused on the care of people with epilepsy, and/or epilepsy research. This includes clinical and basic scientists, nurses, physicians, students, psychologists, pharmacologists, physicists, dieticians, and other allied health professionals.

There will be several YES events and activities during the 13th European Congress on Epileptology.

YES Poster Prize, poster area:

  • If you are under 40 or still in training, mark your poster with a YES sticker.
  • Collect a YES sticker at the poster desk or from the YES booth.
  • The ILAE will honour the best YES posters with two poster prizes – one for the best clinical research work and one for basic science work.

Epilepsy Awareness Run, 27th August, 16:15:

With this event, we aim to raise awareness for our initiative and collect donations to support the Epilepsy Alliance Europe and its projects.

YES Translational Brainstorming Session, 28th August, 13.30:
