Poster Display Dates
Posters will be rotated on a daily basis. Posters will be on display on either Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Presenters will be notified of the day their posters will be on display.
Presenters must be at their posters between 13.45 and 14.40 on the day of display.
Set Up and Removal Times
Posters must be set up between 09.00 and 09.30 on the day of display. Materials to affix posters to the boards will be provided.
Posters may be taken down between 16.30 and 17.00 and must be removed on the day of display. The congress will not be held responsible for any posters that are left behind.
Location of the Poster Area
The poster area is located in the Mall, on Level 1 of the congress centre.
Poster Board Size
The maximum available dimensions of the portrait poster board are as follows:
- 95cm wide x 238cm high
It is not necessary to use the whole of the poster board for a poster, but a minimum poster size of A1 portrait (59cm wide x 84cm high) is recommended.
Remember! If the whole of the poster board is used, delegates may find it difficult to read what is at the bottom of the poster.
Any poster that overlaps an adjoining board will be removed.
Poster Number (P Number)
All poster presenters will receive a poster number e.g. p444. This will be used onsite for the poster board number.
This poster number will also be referenced in the Final Programme, where the title of the abstracts and the authors’ details will be mentioned, as well as on the congress website, where all abstracts will be published.
